You stepped in Some Puck - So, I wrote a poem last night

So, I wrote a poem last night

Was feeling a little lonely last night. Yeah, being single sucks sometimes - but, the last guy I dated - although he was a great guy - he didn't live here - so I still felt lonely sometimes. Anyway - I'm feeling a little better today...but I thought I might share. Not sure what I'd call it...it just came to me in bed so I texted it to myself.

Alone.
Again Tonight.
Crickets chirp loudly
Cold Sheets. Cold Skin.
Can't seem to find sleep.
Missing the heat from your body.
The gentle breeze of your breath.
The scent of your skin.
The feeling of US.
It's all gone.
Again tonight.
Alone.

aww...thanks man. Nah, I'm ok now. I just was feeling a little lonely last night. You know, for a while I was the only one dating anyone - and everyone else I knew was single. Now, its just the opposite. I'm single and EVERYONE I know is dating someone - so sometimes I feel a little lonely and a little like a 'third wheel'. Like, at the movies Sunday - I invited one of my best friends with me and my roomate - well, my roommate and his new bf already had plans and my friend came but brought his BF...which was ok...but it those two were together and then there was me. LOL - So yeah, blah.

Duuuude!!!! .......... I LOVE this! It makes me feel depressed in a way.... Breaking up sucks, but hey! That's life for you. Personally I think you should leave it sans a title, reason being that it helps "capture" the mood all that much better (if that makes any sense). Hey would you mind if I printed me a copy?

I don't know how I missed this one, but uh... WOW! This is so good; you essentially "captured" what one feels after ending a relationship. I also like how it doesn't have a title, it really fits the poem well since those feelings can't really be given a name ( am I making sense?) I guess another reason that it resonates so well is that most of us have experienced this a some point or another. Serious accolades for this. Anyways those are just my two cents. Could I print it out?
